Match tickets for Town v Kingstonian (Saturday 3rd October 3pm) NOW POSTPONED

Our Isthmian League Premier Division match on 3rd October v Kingstonian (3pm kick-off) is a limited capacity all-ticket match, which will take account of the experience of staging our most recent home match against Lewes. Although some specific adjustments may continue to be made, particularly in the light of any further Covid-19 announcements, Kingstonian tickets are now available for public sale.

You can buy your Kingstonian match ticket(s) at https://shop.etfc.london/events  You may need to scroll down to apply for your chosen match and ticket type.

Adults: £11.00
Concessions*: £7.00
Under-21’s**: £7.00
Under-16’s**: £1.00

* Concessions includes students and over 65’s
** ID with proof of age may be required.

Match ticket applicants will be issued with a digital (quick response code) e-ticket which can be swiped at the gate on a mobile phone or be printed out for entry. Please note that an invoice will also be forwarded; this is not your ticket. If there are any issues with e-ticket delivery, please check your spam/junk folders before e-mailing webteam@etfc.london

In addition for the Kingstonian match, on a trial basis, there will be an opportunity to purchase a seat in the very limited accommodation in the main stand (£4). There will also be a strictly limited opportunity to pay for, reserve and collect on the day a hard copy of the matchday programme (£2).  If you are purchasing a Main Stand Transfer/and or a hard copy programme, hard copy printouts of the respective QR codes are strongly preferred at the turnstiles.  An electronic programme will also be available online for purchase in due course, as was the case for the earlier Lewes fixture.  #GoToTown subscribers will get their e-programme in the normal way.

As announced previously, the club have taken a number of comprehensive precautions to make the QEII Stadium safe, particularly with regard to social distancing.  All spectators need to be fully aware that attendance at the match will be entirely at their own risk. You must follow government guidelines and self-diagnose before travelling to the QEII Stadium.  If you, or any of your household, are experiencing any symptoms which may be related to Covid-19, you should not travel and you should follow NHS advice. At the Stadium you agree to respect others, abide with social distancing guidelines and measures that the club have put in place, and follow all advice given by ETFC stewards. This is very important as the club considers the possibility of increased numbers at future matches.

Please remember that the match day experience at the QEII Stadium will not be as supporters will remember! Following queuing in a socially distanced manner, you will have your temperature taken upon entry, you should listen to and act upon all advice before, during and after the match from stewards, club officials and via any tannoy announcements, as the club looks to do the right thing, incrementally, with the safety of all in mind.  Certain facilities will remain closed or be limited, and further announcements on these will be made nearer to the date of the match.
There will be signage in place, and parts of the ground will be subject to a one-way system for additional safety. Toilets will be subject to social distancing measures. Spectators should come prepared for inclement weather as there will be a strict adherence to maintaining social distancing under the limited cover at the ground.

Finally, following recent government announcements the newly launched NHS Covid-19 app arrangements are due to be in operation. The NHS Covid-19 app has a feature that allows users to quickly and easily ‘check in’ to a venue by scanning a displayed code at the venue. The information stays on the user’s phone. If there is an outbreak associated with a venue, a message will be sent to the relevant app users with the necessary public health advice. This will help to avoid the reintroduction of lockdown measures and support the country to return to, and maintain, a more normal way of life.

The app is for smartphones and for over 16s only. Alternative track and trace arrangements will be made on the day for those aged 16 and under and for those without smartphones. Further background information on the newly announced arrangements can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/nhs-covid-19-app-launches-across-england-and-wales and specifically on downloading the app here: https://covid19.nhs.uk/

a)       before 5pm for evening kick-offs – e-mail info@bsfc.co.uk with the following details:

Matchday process

On the day please arrive early as we have no real idea how long it will take to “process” everyone.

  • If you have a smart phone and have downloaded the NHS Covid-19 App then these can be used for track and trace purposes.  We have location specific QR codes at each entrance and around the ground to allow you to let the NHS know that you are at this venue.  Use the app to read the QR code when you arrive.
  • Queue (following social distancing rules), there will be a station before the turnstile to check you and your parties names (or confirm you have used the NHS Covid-19 app), recommend that you sanitise your hands, take your temperature (using an infrared sensor) and ask you all to confirm that you are symptom free.
  • Pay and proceed through the turnstiles.  Both turnstiles accept cash or contactless payments.
  • Once in the ground please make your way, following the signs to your chosen (and allocated) area.  It might be numbered seats in the stand or the area behind a goal.
  • We are not adopting a one-way system at this point but will have “give-way” signs at pinch points around the ground – please respect these.
  • We expect each party to respect “social distancing” around the ground and when queueing for burgers or drinks.
  • Masks are optional outside – but we would prefer you to wear one – especially when queuing.
  • Masks are now compulsory in the Clubhouse (unless you are seated).
  • The Clubhouse will be open and operating a one-way system – you will enter by the door next to the burger van and exit on the far side of the Mitre suite.  This includes using the inside toilets.

Town v Lewes IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Following the Covid-19 precautions pilot fixture v Enfield Borough earlier this week, the club’s board have discussed what went well and where improvements should be made.  Before the first competitive fixture of the 2020-21 season against Lewes at the QEII Stadium on Saturday (19th September), supporters are urged to digest the following, in order to help establish, mutually, the safest possible environment for this and subsequent home fixtures.

Tickets

There will be a strictly limited attendance capacity for this match. Please note:

* you are strongly advised to book your ticket online via https://shop.etfc.london/events as soon as possible as there are very few tickets left;
* there will be an announcement once the capacity has been reached and there are no more tickets available;
* there will be no admission on the day without a valid ticket. Please arrive as early as possible in order to allow sufficient time for your temperature to be taken and your ticket to be scanned. Please be patient if there is a queue.

As the season progresses, it is hoped that the club will be able to increase the capacity for subsequent matches. As advised elsewhere, upon booking an e-ticket you will be issued with a QR code for scanning at the turnstiles to help facilitate track and trace procedures.

Precautions
The club has been working hard to get all the necessary safety measures in place, including a comprehensive Covid-19 risk assessment and signage at the QEII Stadium. Nevertheless, all spectators need to be fully aware that attendance at the match will be entirely at their own risk. You must follow government guidelines and self-diagnose before travelling to the QEII Stadium. If you, or any of your household, are experiencing any symptoms which may be related to Covid-19 (eg high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste), you should not travel, and you should follow NHS advice.

At the match

At the stadium you agree to respect others, abide with social distancing guidelines and measures that the club have put in place, and follow all advice given by stewards. This is particularly important as the club considers the possibility of increased numbers at future matches, which will be dependent to the overall success of the staging of matches incrementally.

Please remember that the matchday experience at the QEII Stadium will not be as supporters will remember from last season.  Following queuing in a socially distanced manner, you will have your temperature taken up on entry, and you should listen to and act upon all advice before, during and after the match from stewards, club officials and via tannoy announcements, as the club looks to do the right thing, with the safety of all in mind.

Please come prepared for inclement weather as there will be strict adherence to maintaining social distancing under the limited cover at the ground. There will be no hard copy programmes (e-versions will be available to buy online – or sent direct to #GoToTown subscribers as usual – shortly), and no golden goal or 50:50 tickets for the time being.

PLEASE ABIDE BY SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES!

Facilities

The main stand, Butler’s Bar and the club shop will remain closed for the time being. There will, however, be an external bar facility in front of the main stand, and Food Lovers Delight will be providing catering on a trial basis. Please ensure that you queue in an orderly fashion, maintaining social distancing, and that you come prepared to pay via a contactless card.

There will be strictly limited seating in the north stand (opposite the main clubhouse) and, to ensure effective social distancing, seats that should not be used will be clearly marked.  Standing will be possible behind both goals but, again, with a significantly reduced capacity – with yellow markers for indicative standing positions on the steps only.  Around the perimeter of the pitch, there will be social distancing markers on fence panels for ease of standing two metres apart.  Parts of the ground will be subject to one-way systems for additional safety. Toilets will be subject to one-in, one-out measures. Please come equipped with a mask for enclosed spaces.

All these measures will be subject to ongoing review. Should there be any changes to match arrangements they will be announced as soon as possible.

Help
The club needs the help of every spectator in order to make the staging of home matches as safe as possible for everyone who attends at the QEII Stadium.

PLEASE BE PATIENT AS WE MAKE ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS INCREMENTALLY AND, ABOVE ALL, PLEASE COMPLY WITH ALL OF OUR ADVICE!

Lee Chappell signs…… and so do a handful of more familiar names!

Town have signed experienced defender Lee Chappell, who has given extensive service to clubs such as Wealdstone, St Albans City and Royston Town, on occasion in a central midfield role. Andy Leese said “Lee is a player I know well. He will bring character, experience and a winning mentality to the group. Left back is a position we have needed to fill and we’ve done that with Lee”. Welcome, Lee!

In addition to the latest new face, the club can announce that additional, more familar, players from last season have committed to Town for the 2020-21 campaign. Lyle Della-Verde, Jon Muleba, Shaun Okojie, Scott Thomas and Sam Youngs have all put pen to paper, as the final pieces of the squad jigsaw for the imminent start of competitive action are pressed into place. Andy: “I’m really delighted to re-sign these players from last year; all great lads who need no introduction from me and who will give us stability and continuity at a time when we most need it.”

More recently, Sam Hatton has signed 20-21 league forms, as has former Towner Jared Small
