Squad Building Continues

Planning for the new league campaign is shaping up nicely with another four players – two of them regular members of the first-team squad – now added to those retained

Xavier Benjamin, an unsung hero at the heart of the back three last season alongside Adam Thompson and Henry Hawkins, is staying on, meaning all three defenders have now committed their immediate futures to the club.

Ollie Knight, who impressed on his return from a loan spell with Chertsey, has also been retained for 2025-6 as have goalkeeper Adi Connolly and promising young defender Jay Lambert

Three More Retained

We are thrilled to announce that Sam Youngs, club captain Mickey Parcell and Bayley Brown have all committed themselves to the club for next season.

All three played a huge part in our National League South survival and have been retained for the 2025-6 campaign.

Sam and Mickey, Town stalwarts through and through, won the supporters’ and players’ player of the season respectively while Sam also won the Golden Boot award for his 17 goals.

Their experience and knowhow will once again prove invaluable while Bayley was one of the shining lights of last season with his performances in midfield.

Their decision to stay with Town brings to six the number of confirmed retained players along with the previously announced Adam Thompson, Henry Hawkins and Billy Leonard.
