Congratulations to boss Billy Holland, who has been selected as the Isthmian Premier’s Manager of the Month after guiding us to the top of the table at the end of August.

Billy and his management team steered us to five wins from six, as well as safe passage in the FA Cup first qualifying round. A 4-0 victory away at Lewes – which incidentally was voted the Isthmian League’s ‘Performance of the Month’ – kick-started a superb month for the Towners, in which we scored 20 goals in 6 games and played some impressive football to end the month at the summit.

The award ought to be particularly satisfying for Billy, who nearly won the award with former club Waltham Abbey on several occasions, but has now done so in his first competitive month at the helm.
