Enfield Town EJA 2 Cockfosters EJA 3 (midweek Cup) 

On a wet and windy night on the 3G Town exited the cup competition in this local derby. 

Town started slowly keeping the same side form the big win at the weekend, but it was the visitors who opened the scoring after 22 minutes when Town’s defence failed to close the opposition down on the edge of the area, allowing a strike which gave Cesur Uzar no chance in goal. Town fashioned some chances with Tyler Brunt, Marcus Pancho and Aden Brazil all failing to hit the target from good positions, but Pancho levelled for Town with a towering header on the brink of half time. 

Town created more chances at the start of the second half, but fell behind when a speculative, long range shot saw Uzar stumble in goal to put Town behind again. Changing the formation to three at the back and pushing forward, Town conceded again. Brazil did pull a goal back with minutes to go but could not find the equaliser.
