Enfield Town EJA 11 – May & Baker EJA 0

Town demolished their opponents with a comprehensive eleven goal victory in their performance to sate  this season.

It really was one way traffic in the second half with eight goals scored, but on the foundations of a solid first half performance. The first goal came after a fine run by Stef Georgiou who handed Tyler Brunt a tap in, lead which was quickly doubled with Brunt again the scorer with a good shot from the edge of the area.  Stef then scored the goal of the game picking up the ball on the halfway line, dribbling passed three players to find himself with just the keeper to beat which he managed in style.

Manager Marcello Devizio made several substitutions at half time and Aden Brazil scored within two minutes of coming on with his first touch of the ball again from the edge of the area. Tyler Brunt added another two goal before Reece Coughlan got in on the action before being replaced by Marcus Pancho who almost immediately scored. Jack Julier added the ninth from another one on one situation with the keeper, before Pancho scored another two to complete the rout.

By far the team’s best performance of the season.
