Popular defender Adam signed on for another year with Town ahead of the 2026-27 season.

A vastly experienced centre-back with well over 200 appearances in the EFL, Adam was most recently with Leyton Orient, where he had spent the previous three seasons and earned promotion from League Two. The 32-year-old began his career at Watford, earning a professional contract at Vicarage Road before embarking on spells with the likes of Brentford, Bury, Barnet, and Southend United. The Harlow-born centre back has also been capped by Northern Ireland from U17 to senior level.
