Powerful striker Jake joined Town in January 2022 following his surprise release from Bishop’s Stortford, for whom he was top scorer in the 21-22 campaign with 15 goals. The 29-year-old quickly established himself as a fans’ favourite, and who brings with him a good deal of experience in non-league, having also represented Chelmsford City, Braintree Town, Maldon & Tiptree and Chesham United among others.
