Powerful striker Jake joined Town in January 2022 following his surprise release from Bishop’s Stortford, for whom he was top scorer in the 21-22 campaign with 15 goals. The 30-year-old quickly established himself as a fans’ favourite and scooped the club’s golden boot for 22-23, netting 18 league goals along the way. He possesses a good deal of experience in non-league, having also represented Chelmsford City, Braintree Town, Maldon & Tiptree and Chesham United among others.
