Bar and other arrangements for Town v Leatherhead (10/10/20)

Following recent advice from Enfield Council we are unable to operate our proposed “takeaway” bar this Saturday.

As a result we will now be operating two sit down only bars.

Butlers Bar

Butlers Bar will be open for reserved tables only (with a minimum spend per table to reserve the seats). These can be booked for two sittings, Pre Game/Half time (1.30-3pm and HT) and Post Game (Final whistle -7pm), bookings can be made via this link https://shop.etfc.london/event/enfield-town-v-leatherhead . Access will be through the double doors to the main building once you are inside the ground. Entry to the main building will restricted to those with Butlers Bar or Main Stand reservations and face masks should be worn when travelling around the building.

Outside Bar

We will be operating a table service outside bar on a first come first serve basis. Drinks must be ordered and consumed at the table and can not be taken away.

Contactless payment will be accepted at both bars and tables will be cleaned regularly.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience whilst we adapt to these new ways of working.

In addition to these arrangements, season tickets will be available to pick up outside the ground for those supporters who have yet to do so, pre-ordered programmes will be available inside the ground for collection and the club plan to re-introduce the sale of 50:50 and Golden Goal tickets (for correct-money cash only – winners to be paid by bank transfer).

The club shop will be opening after 2pm with a limited service, primarily to purchase/order your home, away or 3rd shirts.

2020-21 matchday programmes

A reminder that, in line with the club’s incremental approach to matchday arrangements as a whole, electronic home matchday programmes are available to purchase online: https://shop.etfc.london/ at below the hard copy cover price (the Lewes programme was only available in e-format).

Alternatively, a strictly limited number of hard copy programmes are available to pay for and reserve for collection on matchdays (see https://shop.etfc.london/event/enfield-town-v-leatherhead for Saturday 10th October v Leatherhead, scroll down to the programme option). With limited print runs and the chance that hard copies will sell out in advance of game day why not play safe and reserve a copy!

#GoToTown subscribers will receive their programmes in the usual way.

There will also be a limited opportunity to pay for, and reserve for collection at the turnstiles, a hard copy of the matchday programme (£2).  If you are purchasing a Main Stand Transfer/and or a hard copy programme, hard copy printouts of the respective QR codes are strongly preferred at the turnstiles.  An electronic version of the programme will also be available online for purchase in due course. #GoToTown subscribers will get their e-programme in the normal way.

Season ticket holder arrangements have been notified direct via e-mail.

As announced previously, the club have taken a number of comprehensive precautions to make the QEII Stadium safe, particularly with regard to social distancing.  All spectators need to be fully aware that attendance at the match will be entirely at their own risk. You must follow government guidelines and self-diagnose before travelling to the QEII Stadium.  If you, or any of your household, are experiencing any symptoms which may be related to Covid-19, you should not travel and you should follow NHS advice. At the Stadium you agree to respect others, abide with social distancing guidelines and measures that the club have put in place, and follow all advice given by ETFC stewards. This is very important as the club considers the possibility of increased numbers at future matches.

Please remember that the match day experience at the QEII Stadium will not be as supporters will remember! Following queuing in a socially distanced manner, you will have your temperature taken upon entry, you should listen to and act upon all advice before, during and after the match from stewards, club officials and via any tannoy announcements, as the club looks to do the right thing, incrementally, with the safety of all in mind.  Certain facilities will remain closed or be limited, and further announcements on these will be made nearer to the date of the match.
There will be signage in place, and parts of the ground will be subject to a one-way system for additional safety. Toilets will be subject to social distancing measures. Spectators should come prepared for inclement weather as there will be a strict adherence to maintaining social distancing under the limited cover at the ground. Umbrellas are permitted, although you should of course bear in mind the need to avoid blocking other spectators’ view.

Finally, following recent government announcements the newly launched NHS Covid-19 app arrangements are due to be in operation. The NHS Covid-19 app has a feature that allows users to quickly and easily ‘check in’ to a venue by scanning a displayed code at the venue. The information stays on the user’s phone. If there is an outbreak associated with a venue, a message will be sent to the relevant app users with the necessary public health advice. This will help to avoid the reintroduction of lockdown measures and support the country to return to, and maintain, a more normal way of life.

The app is for smartphones and for over 16s only. Alternative track and trace arrangements will be made on the day for those aged 16 and under and for those without smartphones. Further background information on the newly announced arrangements can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/nhs-covid-19-app-launches-across-england-and-wales and specifically on downloading the app here: https://covid19.nhs.uk/

These can be purchased online (£11/£6/£2) at https://horshamfc.ktckts.com/event/hor2021ipl03/horsham-v-enfield-town.

There is limited parking at the ground itself and it will be prioritised for club and match officials, players, official guests and supporters with limited mobility (this last category MUST book a parking space in advance at admin@horshamfc.co.uk.) Supporters should park in Horsham Park & Ride RH13 0AD, which is a five minute walk away. There is no charge for
parking there and stewards will be on hand to give directions to the ground.

There is strictly NO matchday parking in Worthing Road, Denne Park, Salisbury Road, Horsham Golf & Fitness or the access lane to the Stadium.

HFC will review the situation on the night to see if there is still some capacity but all supporters should understand that they could well have a wasted journey if they assume that they can purchase tickets at the gate. HFC’s strong preference is for card transactions at the bars and food outlets in order to assist with safety, but can also accept cash.

Enfield Town v Kingstonian (3/10/20, 3pm) – POSTPONED

A reminder that this match is ALL-TICKET.

THERE IS A PITCH INSPECTION AT 10. 15AM – MATCH POSTPONED

Earlier posting (now overtaken):

At this stage, there are very few tickets left, so please book now to avoid disappointment. All those who have bought tickets for the match will be contacted with this message via e-mail in due course. There will be a further announcement online at such time as the Covid-restrictions capacity has been reached.

The current weather forecast for Saturday is for rain. As there will be a strict adherence to maintaining social distancing under the limited cover at the ground you should come prepared for the predicted wet weather.  Umbrellas are permitted but of course please be mindful of fellow supporters’ view of the game.

Upon arrival, please have your electronic or paper quick response (QR) code ticket ready to be swiped at the turnstiles.  At the turnstiles you will be issued with instructions on the route to access the main stand if you have purchased a main stand ticket.  Pre-ordered hard copy programmes will be available for collection inside the ground.  For main stand transfer and pre-ordered programmes hard copy QR codes (ie printed out on paper) will be preferable. Season cards will be available for those that did not collect at the Lewes game.

An electronic programme (pdf) for the match is also available for purchase online here: https://shop.etfc.london/ at a reduced rate of £1.50 (hard copy costs £2).  Eligible #GoToTown subscribers will get their e-programme in the normal way, and those subscribers with a hard copy programme included within their packages will be able to collect their copy on the day.

Please take note of the social distancing signs around the ground, including those on the perimeter fence. The main stand is for ticketholders only. Seating in the smaller (north) stand will be on a first come-first served basis but, again, please respect social distancing instructions and please do not sit on seats which have been blocked out with yellow and black signage. Behind the goal, it is imperative that you stand on the yellow markers for your own safety, and in particular do not congregate in large numbers, especially if it is raining.

Toilets will be subject to strict social distancing measures.

Please listen to all tannoy announcements.  All these covid-19 precautionary measures have been introduced with the safety of spectators in mind and, should they be breached, there is a possibility that future matches will not be allowed to take place at the QEII Stadium.

Open on matchday

Food Lovers Delight will be operating, with burgers and chips, tea and coffee etc. Please queue in an orderly manner with social distancing firmly in mind. Contactless payment preferred.

There will be an external bar operating in front of the main stand for the sale of alcoholic and non alcoholic cold drinks. In line with the latest government guidelines, this will need to operate on an order-at-seat basis. Please respect this requirement. Once you have ordered your drinks please disperse away from the bar area. Contactless payment preferred.

Closed on matchday

Butler’s Bar

The club shop.

In addition, there will be no golden goal or 50:50 tickets on sale.  The reintroduction of these will be considered for the Leatherhead match on 10th October.

Finally, following recent government announcements, the recently launched NHS Covid-19 app arrangements are due to be in operation. Spectators are encouraged to use the app.

Please do enjoy the match but, at the same time, please do respect what Enfield Town FC is committed to doing in terms of safety for the benefit of all!
