A reminder that this match is ALL-TICKET.
THERE IS A PITCH INSPECTION AT 10. 15AM – MATCH POSTPONED
Earlier posting (now overtaken):
At this stage, there are very few tickets left, so please book now to avoid disappointment. All those who have bought tickets for the match will be contacted with this message via e-mail in due course. There will be a further announcement online at such time as the Covid-restrictions capacity has been reached.
As announced previously, the club have taken a number of comprehensive precautions to make the QEII Stadium safe, particularly with regard to social distancing. All spectators need to be fully aware that attendance at the match will be entirely at their own risk. You must follow government guidelines and self-diagnose before travelling to the QEII Stadium. If you, or any of your household, are experiencing any symptoms which may be related to Covid-19, you should not travel and you should follow NHS advice. At the Stadium you agree to respect others, abide with social distancing guidelines and measures that the club have put in place, and follow all advice given by ETFC stewards. This is very important as the club considers the possibility of increased numbers at future matches.
The current weather forecast for Saturday is for rain. As there will be a strict adherence to maintaining social distancing under the limited cover at the ground you should come prepared for the predicted wet weather. Umbrellas are permitted but of course please be mindful of fellow supporters’ view of the game.
Upon arrival, please have your electronic or paper quick response (QR) code ticket ready to be swiped at the turnstiles. At the turnstiles you will be issued with instructions on the route to access the main stand if you have purchased a main stand ticket. Pre-ordered hard copy programmes will be available for collection inside the ground. For main stand transfer and pre-ordered programmes hard copy QR codes (ie printed out on paper) will be preferable. Season cards will be available for those that did not collect at the Lewes game.
An electronic programme (pdf) for the match is also available for purchase online here: https://shop.etfc.london/ at a reduced rate of £1.50 (hard copy costs £2). Eligible #GoToTown subscribers will get their e-programme in the normal way, and those subscribers with a hard copy programme included within their packages will be able to collect their copy on the day.
Please take note of the social distancing signs around the ground, including those on the perimeter fence. The main stand is for ticketholders only. Seating in the smaller (north) stand will be on a first come-first served basis but, again, please respect social distancing instructions and please do not sit on seats which have been blocked out with yellow and black signage. Behind the goal, it is imperative that you stand on the yellow markers for your own safety, and in particular do not congregate in large numbers, especially if it is raining.
Toilets will be subject to strict social distancing measures.
Please listen to all tannoy announcements. All these covid-19 precautionary measures have been introduced with the safety of spectators in mind and, should they be breached, there is a possibility that future matches will not be allowed to take place at the QEII Stadium.
Open on matchday
Food Lovers Delight will be operating, with burgers and chips, tea and coffee etc. Please queue in an orderly manner with social distancing firmly in mind. Contactless payment preferred.
There will be an external bar operating in front of the main stand for the sale of alcoholic and non alcoholic cold drinks. In line with the latest government guidelines, this will need to operate on an order-at-seat basis. Please respect this requirement. Once you have ordered your drinks please disperse away from the bar area. Contactless payment preferred.
Closed on matchday
Butler’s Bar
The club shop.
In addition, there will be no golden goal or 50:50 tickets on sale. The reintroduction of these will be considered for the Leatherhead match on 10th October.
Finally, following recent government announcements, the recently launched NHS Covid-19 app arrangements are due to be in operation. The NHS Covid-19 app has a feature that allows users to quickly and easily ‘check in’ to a venue by scanning a displayed code at the venue. The information stays on the user’s phone. If there is an outbreak associated with a venue, a message will be sent to the relevant app users with the necessary public health advice. This will help to avoid the reintroduction of lockdown measures and support the country to return to, and maintain, a more normal way of life. Spectators are encouraged to use the app.
The app is for smartphones and for over 16s only. Alternative track and trace arrangements will be made on the day for those aged 16 and under and for those without smartphones. Further background information on the newly announced arrangements can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/nhs-covid-19-app-launches-across-england-and-wales and specifically on downloading the app here: https://covid19.nhs.uk/
Please do enjoy the match but, at the same time, please do respect what Enfield Town FC is committed to doing in terms of safety for the benefit of all!
