We are delighted to announce the signing of hugely experienced Scottish defender Ruaridh Donaldson from Chelmsford City.

Ruaridh, 31,  joined the Clarets a year ago and before that played for Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Back home, he has represented Stenhousemuir in Scotland, obtaining promotion from Scottish League 2.

Naturally left-footed, he has played at Step 2 for several seasons and can also fit seamlessly into midfield. His versatility promises to be a huge asset next season.
